You should check out the classroom blogs. Many classes have blogs you should go and check it out now just like me. I think that all of the blogs are cool because they tell us what children are doing in class. If you would like to see your classroom blog , you go onto your computer at school and you click on the pepweb intranet then you click on the classroom blogs and you can check out your class room blog.

The Walking School Bus

If you would like to join the Walking School bus you have to meet at the corner of Kimpton Road and Cornwall Road. If you join you get a ticket, then you get it clipped, then this is the exciting part! If you get 25 clips then you get a prize at the whole school assembly. The time we meet on the corner of Kimpton and Cornwall Road is 8:15 am every Thursday, so if you would like to walk with the walking school bus, come along this Thursday, the 2nd of August, which is milo and muffin morning.

So came on, join the walking school bus now!!!!

Olympics

The Olympic games is a big sporting event where athletes from all over the world play many different sports. About 3,000 the first Olympics took place in Olympia, Greece.

About 118 years ago Baron Pierre de Coubertin founded the International Olympic Committee in 1894 and that was the beginning of the Modern Olympics. These games have a special symbol that is used in Olympia and at all other olympic games. Well it's a torch, This torch is lit on the grounds of Olympia, and will fly, sail, and be run across the world, held by our favourite celebrites, and eventually arrive at the heart of the new olympic staduim. I wish all the best to the athletes, and please BRING THE GOLD "NZ".
