East Bus Penguins on the March!!
Early on the morning of Thursday 11th August, 20 penguins gathered on the corner of Kimpton and Cornwell icebergs to form a search party to look for two missing members of the East Bus huddle. There was now growing concern for the safety of missing Captain Compston and Mr Popper, as neither were trained in iceberg and sea safety.
Mrs Momma penguin announced "OK East Bus - let's waddle!" All the penguins started waddling in the direction of Papatoetoe East Polar School. The East Bus penguins demonstrated their expertise in iceberg and sea safety, keeping their flippers on the flipperpath and staying in formation. When they had to cross the treacherous Morris Avenue Strait, they kept alert for sneaky seals and awful orca. Thankfully, they all arrived safely on the other side.
Acting on a tip-off from a friendly seagull, the East Bus penguins raided Papatoetoe East Polar School. There they found Captain Compston trapped in the school office. In a daring rescue they set her free. The search continues for Mr Popper . . . .
