Camp

From the 21st to the 25th of March this year, all Year 6 kids are going to camp at Chosen Valley which is a bit further than sonshine ranch but it is for learning. We might challenge ourselves to do some activities like the flying fox (aaargghh), kayaking, racing on the trolleys and other cool stuff.
We will learn a lot about each other and ourselves - and maybe about the teachers too!!

Are you ready for camp ..2016!!!!

This term the year 6 students and teachers are going to camp. The destination is Chosen Valley which is located in Ararimu Valley, and the date they leave is the 21st of March. The year 6 students are going because the pupils need to bond with each other.
At Chosen Valley the students will challenge themselves to do different activities, such as, flying fox, canoeing and bmx track racing. I think they will learn a lot about themselves and each other!

Chosen Valley Camp

My brother Shohab went to Chosen Valley Camp in Term 1 this year. He did lots of activities but he really liked the trolleys best because it was great fun sliding down the hill. He said that the food was nice and one of the best things was tasting the dessert after dinner. When it rained they had to go to their cabins. It was important that he learnt how to make his bed properly and how to be clean, and not to be scared. I can't wait to go to Year 6 Camp.

Year 6 Camp 2011

Howdy y'all! Year 6's have had a GREAT time at camp! People have faced their fears right up in their face! They all loved their meals!
On the Confidence Course people had rope burns, blisters and some have had a couple of hits in the head! But as my grandaddy says "Your not having fun unless you face a challenge."
Our parent helpers were a big help within our guidelines! So please give a big applause for their HARD work! We've gotta say that at our concert, their magic tricks were tremendous!

Well I've gotta say the Water Slide was AWESOME! The flying fox was terrirfying for some, but MIND-BLOWINGLY FUN for others! Year 5's have a 100% guarantee of fun next year! So I wish I could go again!

P.S. In case you're wondering, you might be hearing rumours about eels in the ponds, there aren't!(Only tadpoles)
