National Young Leaders Day Part 2

We've been to National Young Leaders Day and it was soooo much fun!! We played games and we got to listen to famous New Zealand People about what they think leadership means to them. Some of the leaders were Nick Tuitasi, Dillion Boucher, Pat Lam, Tumehe and Serena Rongonui, Dave Atkison and Pat Buckley. The hosts were Charlie Panapa and Alice Gallaher and the stage host was Whitney Pau'u. We had lots of fun and we got new badges as well. I enjoyed National Young Leaders Day because it encouraged me to be a great leader. There was also a special appearance from the Laughing Samoans who did a little performance for us

National Young Leaders Day Part 1

On Thursday the 19th of May the National Young Leaders Day is being held at the Logan Campbell Centre .Our school leaders will be attending the event. This year Miss Nola will be going with the leaders. National Young Leaders Day is a day where leaders from different schools meet together to learn about being great leaders. Famous NZ leaders talk to kids about how they became leaders and what leadership means to them. We will also get to watch an amazing light and sound show as well as parts of recent movies that demonstrate leadership. We can't wait! Watch this space for more details after the day!
