Diversity Day

On Friday the 22nd of August a very successful Diversity Day took place. It was amazing to see everyone dressed in their beautiful, cultural dresses. I would like to thank all of those students for bringing a dish of delicious food from their culture. I think that we had an awesome parade. The juniors sang their song beautifully, all the children waved their flags graciously in the air and everyone walked proudly in their clothes. I hope that everyone had fun while doing the activities and also learnt something new about a different culture.

Father's Day

Did you know that Father's Day is on second of September? What are you going to give your dad? Or you can give a gift to a man who deserves it, like your teacher, uncle, grandad and your brother. Your father is someone that is really going to encourage you in life. A Father loves their children/child a lot even when he is not feeling well. So this is why a dad or another important man really deserves to be loved a lot. Here is an acrostic poem:

Funny father

Amazing dad

The best person ever

He loves you alot

Encouraging person

Really very adorable

Daffodil Day

A daffodil is a type of flower that grows in spring in New Zealand. You can buy a fake daffodil from shops to put on your shirt. A daffodil day is held to raise money to support people who are suffering from cancer. The cancer society collects money and uses it to help children and adults who are sick.
