New Classroom - "C7"

C7 is a new classroom that proudly stands by C4 so on Thursday I interviewed a few of the C7 stars. I started with Mahi-Na and she said that she likes the Board Games and she thinks she will study more this year! Then I asked Solomon if he struggled finding stuff and he struggled alot. Then I asked Elyshia what she disliked and she said she hated the corridor between C4 and C7. Then I asked Farhan " What do you like?" He said "everything in C7". Phew! All of it wow! Then Milan said she will have a great year with this teacher and Gardenia told me she had lots of trouble finding stuff. That's me done asking C7. They seem like a lovely bunch and will have a good year!

Did You Know Mrs van Wijk Went Cruising?
She went on the 29 January, 2012.
Mrs van Wijk had a relaxing time and she played a game called trivia. She had plenty of entertainment. Mrs Van Wijk enjoyed crusing on the boat. She ate a lot of great food. She crusied on the Pacific Pearl all the way to Sydney, in Australia and she also got off at Tasmaina. She did not even feel sea sick. Next time she would like to go to the Pacific Islands.

Kiss Kiss Yuck Yuck !

Kiss Kiss Yuck Yuck is one of our top ten books and it is the number 1 . It's written by one of our favourite authors - Kyle Mewburn . It's all about a boy called Andy who doesn't likes kisses. At the end the boy liked to kiss his aunty. He started liking his aunty's kisses when his aunty's leg broke .

Cruising onboard the Pacific Pearl

On 26th January my parents, my cousin and aunty, my grandparents and I went on a cruise onboard the new Pacific Pearl of P&O cruises. We boarded the at Prince's Wharf and then got onboard the ship. We had a fun sailaway party, a big lunch and dinner and also the funniest ever shows.

-Night 2

We woke up and had a big breakfast and went to the marquee (the big theatre). Then we had lunch and went back to the marquee. We got ready fo dinner and the food was yummy!

-Night 3

Again we woke up had a big brekkie went to the show and we bought photos and then had a tasty lunch but we stopped a Abercrombie Bay, Great Barrier Island. We saw land and the weather was great so we chilled out. We had a fabulous dinner and delicous cocktails and then a ventriloquist(person who holds a puppet and talks)was onboard showing a show and we went HA HA!

-Disembakration Day

Four days complete so we got off and drove home.

Library Information Centre

Have you ever seen our school library? If you have good on you and if you haven't, you should really check it out. There are alot of interesting and fun things to look at.

Plus this is a very important reminder for all school librarians. Every one of the school librarians should attend the every Monday meetings. Mrs Clark is starting to get a little upset because not even half of the library monitors have been turning up for duties or meetings. Anyway back to the library, there are over five hundred books in our library and that's great.The library is a quiet thinking place where kids read and concentrate on what they are doing. That's enough for now, I hope you check our Library Information Centre!!!!

POPPY and TOBY on Holiday!!

Just before Christmas we found ourselves put into our carry boxes and then into the car and whisked away for our Summer Holiday while the school was closed. This time our human companion told us it was to a new holiday home for a few weeks out in the beautiful rural countryside.
It was all new to us but once we arrived we were happy to see other cats enjoying themselves with plenty of room to run and play and lots to see and do. We had a lovely sunny outdoor area with sheep and birds right outside the patio area. There was even a water fountain for us to drink from.

The nice lady in the cattery gave us a double room to share with blankets and a tent house for snuggling in. Once we had our breakfast each morning she would open our door and we could have playtime with all the other cats. We had nice biscuits and meat for dinner at night which meant that we came back to school a little fatter than we were.
It was so quiet and we were happy that our humans had chosen this cattery without dogs for us to spend a lazy summer break.
Thank you for fundraising and collecting the money to send us to a lovely place for the Christmas holidays. We had fun and have now returned, safe and sound, back to school for the start of the new year.
