Aesop's Fables

Aesop was a slave that lived 2,500 years ago.The fables Aesop wrote usually had a moral or a lesson. Like in the "Lion and the Mouse", the moral is no matter how small you are, yo can still help others. In the "Tortoise and the Hare", the moral for the fable is slow and steady wins the race. But when Aesop told his fables he could sadly never write them down. But because of Aesop's fables his master let him free from being a slave. Aesop died later but everyone remembered his fables.
