It has been confirmed that 4 people have died at Dreamworld, Goldcoast, Australia while riding the Thunder River Rapid ride. The victims were two women and two men. Dreamworld has been closed since this incident and an investigation is under way.
Dreamworld is known as Australia's biggest theme park with more than 50 rides and attractions. The Thunder River Rapid Ride was opened in 1986 and it is a family ride and seats 6 people in 1 car. Riders have to be taller than 1.20 meters to ride. This ride travels up to 45 km/ hour.
